Abstract :
Indonesia is the largest island country in the world with 17,504 islands within its territory. To distribute the available resources in Indonesia, sea is needed as an alternative means of transportation. In Indonesia, the fuel oil is very important to be used in daily life. Tanker is a ship used to distribute fuel through the Indonesian sea. The tanker will carry fuel from refineries to fuel terminals in Indonesia and other countries. One of the oil refineries in Indonesia, Balongan, West Java, has qualified products. At present the Sambu Island TBBM is a TBBM that is being developed and has been collaborating with Freepoint Commodities Pte. Ltd., an international commodity trading and investment company, to optimize the use of Sambu Island Fuel Oil Terminal (TBBM). Therefore the author decides to Design Tanker ship 7200 DWT Speed 12 Knots with Balongan Route Sambu Island.
