Abstract :
This research is a quantitative study that aims to determine the effect of liquidity, leverage, and profitability on financial distress. The sample used in this study is the infrastructure, utilities, and transportation sectors. The dependent variable used in this study is financial distress. While the independent variables include liquidity that uses a current ratio (CR) measure, leverage that uses a debt to asset ratio (DAR) measure, profitability that uses a return on asset (ROA) measurement tool. The sampling method used is probability sampling, with the final sample size of 60 infrastructure, utilities, and transportation companies as research samples. The type of data in this research is secondary data. To test the hypothesis using Logistic Regression Analysis with Eviews 10.0 program. The results of the test show that there is a negative influence between liquidity and financial distress, then the influence of leverage on financial distress, and finally there is no effect of profitability on financial distress.
