Abstract :
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a pandemic disease with elevating
confirmed positive cases in Indonesia. The prevalence of COVID-19 positive
cases on teen is around 20%. COVID-19 spread from person to person through
droplets from an infected. Act of prevention like physical distancing is needed. A
person’s behavior can be affected by two factors, such as knowledge and attitude.
Adolescent is a process where cognitive development occurs and affects the
change of attitude. This research had general purpose to find out the relation
between knowledge and attitude towards physical distancing obedience using
observational analytic with cross-sectional method on 135 respondents. Stratified
random sampling technique had used to collect data after validity and reliability
had been done to the questionare. Result shown that there was no relationship
between knowledge towards physical distancing obedience (p=0,827) and there is
a relationship between attitude towards physical distancing obedience (p=0,04),
and a relationship between attitude towards physical distancing obedience, and
relationship between attitude towards physical distancing obedience by several
other factors that support the form of behavior such as perception, emotion and
motivation.
