Abstract :
Diarrheal disease caused by 2 factors, namely, non-inflammatory (virus, mild disease) and inflammation (mostly invasive or with toxin-producing bacteria, a more severe disease). Escherichia coli or known as E. coli is a cause of the occurance of diarrhea among the disease causing diarrhea other. The researchers searched for types of antibiotics by utilizing bioactive compounds from living things, both from plants and animals and even bacteria such as Actinomycetes and Aloe Vera isolates which have proven to reduce diarrhea, especially from E.coli. The intentions of deliberation this is about antibacterial Aloe Vera leaf extract and Actinomycetes isolates to microbial understand the activities of E.coli. Methods: Systematic Review by conducting literature searches using PubMed, Ebsco, National Library E-Resource. Literature that discusses Escherichia coli, Aloe Vera and Actinomycetes. Results: There are 6 studies which concluded that Aloe vera can inhibit E. coli. There were 6 studies which concluded that Actinomycetes can inhibit E. coli. Conclusion: Actinomycetes and Aloe vera isolates can be alternatives as antibacterial agents in the medication of diarrhea, especially one caused by E. coli bacteria.
