Abstract :
The purpose of this research was to analyze the lexical equivalence of thesis abstarct from
English to Indonesian by the students who graduated in academic year 2016. The population of
this research consisted of 19 students. This research used total sampling, all students could be the
sample of this research. This research was descriptive qualitative research, this research focused
on the deep understanding to interaction with concepts of the research.
Based on the result of data analysis, it found the lexical 12 students clasified less
accuracy category, 17 students clasified less acceptable and 10 students clasified high readable
category. Finally, it could be concluded that students analysis of lexical equivalence in abstract
translation was in less accuracy, less acceptable and high readable.
