Abstract :
The purpose of this research was to find how the students? vocabulary mastery
by used picture card media better than without used the picture card media, then to
find out the effect of picture card media towards students? vocabulary mastery of the
seventh grade at SMP N 2 Rambah Hilir.
This research was experimental research, precisely quasi-experiment research.
The design was Two Group post-test only. The treatment was then in three meeting.
The result of improvement can be seen from post-test score. The t-test score
was 5,437. Based on the t-table was 2,021 < 5,437. The conclusion was there is a
significant effect used picture card media towards student?s vocabulary mastery of the
seventh grade at SMP N 2 Rambah Hilir.
