Abstract :
The purpose of this research was to find out what are the errors in using ending S to the grade X SMAN 1 Tambusai. This research involved 27 students as the sample and this research was conducted on Mei 7 th , 2018 at SMAN 1 Tambusai. In this research, the instrument used was a writing test where the sampleswere asked to wrire a descriptive text in 45 minutes based on the certain topics which had been provided by the researcher. Then the researcher analyzed the number of errors on every students? writing. The researcher only focused what are the errors made by the samples in using ending S in descriptive text writing. From the result of the test, the researcher found that there were 37 errors or 69,1% in ommision as plural marker, 5 errors or 6,4% in addition as possessive pronoun, and the last is 3 errors or 5,3% in misformation as plural noun. So, the total errors of appeared in this research was 45 errors.
