Abstract :
The purpose of this research were to know the Writing Skill at Grade X of
SMK AL-FAJAR SIBUHUAN in Descriptive Text. Based on the researcher in
SMK AL-FAJAR SIBUHUAN, the result of the students in writing descriptive
text at X grade of SMK AL-FAJAR SIBUHUAN is still relatively low. It is
below the KKM standard. While the KKM score was 60 and this is still relatively
low. The purposed of this research was to found the effect of two Stay two Stray
techniques on students? writing skill in descriptive text at grade X of SMK ALFAJAR
SIBUHUAN. The research method used was Experimental; Post Test
Only Design. Sampling was used with the Random Sampling technique. The total
sample was 40 students in class X. The sample of control class was 20 students
and the sample of experimental class was 20 students. The results of this
experiment showed significant results in the final test by used the TSTS
technique. The researcher used a T-test Aksen. This was because the data was
normal but not homogeneous, with criteria (sig) smaller than (?) at a significant
degree of 5%. Finally a significant in using of using the Two Stay Two Stray
technique on students? writing skill in descriptive text at grade X of SMK ALFAJAR
SIBUHUAN.
