Abstract :
Based on the observation SMP Islam Kapenuhan, the result of the students in writing descriptive text at VIII grade of SMP Islam Kapenuhan is still relatively low. It is below the KKM standar. While the KKM score is 60 and this is still relatively low. The purposed of this research was to know the effect of using pantomime gameon students writing skill in descriptive text at grade VIII of SMP Islam Kapenuhan. The research method used was Pre-Experimental; one group design. Sampling was used with the cluster sampling technique. The total sample was 20 students in VIIIc. The result of this experiment showed significant result in the post test by used pantomime game. The researcher used a T-test Aksen. This is because the data was normal but not homogeneous, with criteria (sig) smaller than (?) at a significant degree of 5%. Finally a significant in using the pantomime game on students? writing skill in descriptive text at eight grade of SMP Islam Kapenuhan.
