Abstract :
his research had purpose to saw if there was influence of Numbered Heads Together model approach toward mathematical concept comprehension ability of second grade students at junior high school Muhammadiyah Rambah. This type of the research was quasi eksperimental by used Two-Group Posttest Only design. The population in this research was the second grade students at junior high school Muhammadiyah Rambah. Took the sample used simple random sampling technique, so that X1class was experiment class and X2class was control class. Experiment class used Numbered Heads Together , whereas in control class used convensional learning. The data of mathematical concept comprehension ability obtainedby test technique. The test gave at the end of thelesson with instrument was test question of mathematical concept comprehension ability that after did analysis validity analysis, diffuculty level, distinguising power and reliability. The data analysis did for tested hyphotesis. Before did the hypothesistest firstdid prerequisite test was the normality test. Based on the prerequisite test results obtained that the data was not normality distributed, thus tested the hyphotesis did by Mann Whitney test.The result of showed tablecountzz?that was 2,86 > 1,96 with value was??0,05, so H0was rejected. It could be concluded that there was influence of Numbered Heads Together toward mathematical concept comprehension ability of second gradestudentsat junior high school muhammadiyahrambah.
