Abstract :
Novel is one of a literary form. Therefore, the writer wants to analyze this novel as the source of the analysis in this thesis. This thesis analyzes the influence of Pagan on the ideology of King Arthur's reigns in the novel entitled King Arthur's Knights by Henry Gilbert. Pagan gives big influence especially in Arthur's life. It makes Arthur become a king that dominates the entire Britain. King Arthur gets married to Gwenevere when he was twenty five years old. He got Round Table as brideprice,then it becomes the most famous court in Arthurian literature. King Arthur's Knights is a novel that tells about religion, knighthood and politics in Britain in the middle age. Therefore, the setting of this novel is Britain in the middle age. This novel has a purpose to make the readers understand about Pagan and the ideology. Pagan and the ideology happen in sociological condition of the society that arises at the age. Therefore, the development of Pagan as the ancient religion has big influence on the ideology of King Arthur's government.
