Abstract :
In this research, the writer discusses the predication that occurs in articles of ?Deutschland?magazine published every month. The writer wants to know deeper about the predication by analyzing the predication used in the articles of ?Deutschland? magazine and the position of subject in relation to predicate used in article of "Deutschland? magazine. The writer uses descriptive method in making this research, by collecting the data, classifying the data and making analysis. At last,the writer gives the conclusion from the analysis. The source of data in making this research is the articles of "Deutschland? magazine that are published in September 2002. Based on this research, the writer classifies the predication into 3 categories;the first is the predication with linking verb, the second is the predication with intransitive verb and the third is the predication with transitive verb. Besides the writer classifies the structure of predication is based on its categories, the writer also classifies the structure of predication is based on its positions. It is classified into 2.positions; the position of subject- predicate in normal order and the postion of subject-predicate in inverted order.
