Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving gedi leaf flour in the feed on the performance of hybrid ducks. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) experimental method, with 4 treatments, each treatment consisting of 5 replications and each treatment containing 9 hybrid ducks. The treatments given were: P0 (without gedi leaf flour), P1 (gedi leaf flour 10 g/kg feed), P2 (gedi leaf flour 20 g/kg feed), and P3 (gedi leaf flour 30 g/kg feed). Parameters observed included body weight gain, feed consumption, and feed conversion. The results showed that the addition of gedi leaf flour in the feed at P1 (10 g/kg feed) and P2 (20 g/kg feed) had a significant effect on body weight gain in hybrid ducks but did not significantly affect on feed consumption and conversion ratio. The conclusion of this study was that the addition of gedi leaf flour in the feed with the treatment of 10 g/kg of feed was the best treatment seen from the increasing in body weight of hybrid ducks.
