Abstract :
Graha Sehat Probolinggo Hospital controls the borrowing and returning of inpatient medical record files by using Microsoft Excel. The percentage of delay in returning inpatient medical record files in January 2021-April 2021 is 74.87%. The impact of this delay in returning is that the time for providing inpatient medical record files exceeds the standard for providing inpatient medical record files so that it affects patient waiting time, and delays in making reports on borrowing and returning inpatient medical record files. The purpose of this study was to design and build a system for borrowing and returning inpatient medical record files to overcome the problem of late returns. This study uses the prototype development method. Data was collected through interviews, observation, documentation and brainstorming. Testing the system using Black Box Testing with test results that the system functionality has been running well or successfully. User assessment related to the system is carried out by collecting data through a questionnaire in the form of a google form. And calculated using the Likert scale method with an average result of 85.09% which means that the system is in accordance with the wishes and needs. The result of this study is a reminder system that can help control the process of borrowing and returning inpatient medical record files so that it can reduce the percentage of late returns by providing reminder notifications to inpatients every 2 x 24 hours until the file is returned to the medical record unit.
