Abstract :
This research was conducted with the aim of knowing how the effect of onion extract on the seeds of the vanilla plant cuttings (Vanillia Planifolia Andrews). This research has been carried out in Plaosan (Patokan) Situbondo District, Situbondo Regency in June 2021 - September 2021. In this study using a non-factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK), for the treatment consists of 5, namely A0 (0% control), A1 ( 100ml/L), A2(200ml/L), A3(300ml/L) and A4(400ml/L). The research data were analyzed using ANOVA with levels of 5% and 1%. If there is a Very Significant Difference, the research needs to be further tested using BNJ (Honest Significant Difference). This study has given results that are not significantly different to the parameters of shoot length and root length, as well as very significant results to the parameters of root weight.
