Abstract :
E-Learning stands for electronic learning, namely the learning process that use electronic media, especially the internet as a system learning, this idea was then developed as a bold learning media which is currently practiced by most parts of the world. The purpose of this research to be able to improve the quality of E-learning Department of Information Technology according to student perceptions. This analysis uses the Heuristic method Evaluation with 10 principles introduced by Nielsen, This research data obtained from 93 respondents using a questionnaire. The results of this study are H1 79.57%, H2 85.27%, H3 81.72%, H4 78.57%, H5 78.92%, H6 77.85%, H7 78.49%, H8 83.08%, H9 78.60%, H10 66.77, and get the average index appropriateness 78.89% which means that the user states that the E-Learning website of the Department of Technology is eligible to be used with a percentage of 78.89%.
