Abstract :
The accuracy of the code is very important in providing a disease code based on ICD-10 which is the basis of the koder in providing disease codes. The inaccuracy of the diagnosis code can result in isruption of health services, because in this era of massive health insurance, hospital claims can be late to be received by hospitals. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors causing the inaccurate diagnosis code in the hospital based on the ICD-10 literature review. There were 17 articles that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria as a reference for this study. The results showed that the highest factor that caused the inaccuracy of the diagnosis code was the knowledge factor of 58,82% or 10 journals and the lowest factor was the workload factor of 5,88% or 1 journal and the character usage factor of 1 journal or 5,88%. Efforts that can be made to overcome this are by conducting training at the hospital or outside the hospital regarding coding and code evaluation.
