Abstract :
UD Sri Rejeki is a distributor warehouse that sells various kinds of products wholesale, such as food, beverages, perfumes, beauty products, kitchen ingredients, and other store needs. The problem faced by UD Sri Rejeki is that it is difficult to find out what supplies are running out. Out of stock items can be seen when there is an order from a customer. As a result, UD Sri Rejeki naturally requests goods to suppliers, so that distributors are late in sending ordered goods to customers. UD Sri Rejeki has difficulty determining which items to buy from suppliers, with long waiting times for goods in the warehouse so that the product expires. UD Sri fortune requires a web-based forecasting system with the Weighted Moving Average method that can predict how much inventory must be ordered from suppliers in the coming period. So that there is no shortage or accumulation of stock in the warehouse that can harm the distributor. The reason for using the Weighted Moving Average method is that it can provide prediction results with a value in July 2021 is 64 with the resulting error analysis, namely the MAE value of 19.82, the MSE value of 559.82, and the MAPE value of 19% so that it can be used as a reference in goods estimation process. The results can answer the determination of ordering goods in the future at UD Sri Rejeki.
