Abstract :
The prevention of anemia in adolescent girls is one of the health problems that became the concern of Indonesian government. The highest risk of anemia in adolescent girls at Junior High School level in Jember based on data from the Jember District Health Office in 2019 occurred at the Kalisat Health Center by 100% in 2019. The risk of anemia in adolescent girls at MTs Al-Badri Kalisat is highest characterized by 61.3% of students often feel anemia sign and symptom that interfere daily activities and student learning concentration. Students have lack knowledge about anemia and do wrong diet because they never receive nutrition education of anemia. As many as 51.9% of students chose animated videos that were used as anemia education media because animated videos it had attractive images and sounds, practical, and easy understandable. The purpose of this study was to generate animated video as an educational media for preventing anemia in adolescent girls at MTs Al-Badri Kalisat. This research method uses Research and Development using ADDIE model. The subjects in this study were taken by purposive sampling which include 10 students at MTs Al Badri Kalisat. The results of this study show that the results of media validation by material and media validators get very good scores and the media was very feasible to be implemented for research subjects. The results of the media acceptance test got a very decent score with an average score of 98%. The results of the SWOT analysis show that the animated video media developed has weaknesses and threats based on internal and external factors that affect the media, strengths and opportunities in the media can be utilized to overcome threats and weaknesses in the media by using alternative strategies that have been made based on the results of analysis SWOT component. The conclusion is animated video is very feasible to be used as an educational media for preventing anemia in adolescent girls at MTs Al-Badri Kalisat.
