Abstract :
The development of moon orchids is also inseparable from pests and diseases that can damage the beauty of the moon orchid plant. Because there are quite a lot of orchid fans and there are still many who don't know what pests or diseases attack plants and also how to handle them, for that we need an expert system that can identify pests or diseases that attack and how to handle them, which can help cultivators / plant lovers ornamental moon orchid (Phalaenopsis amabilis). This expert system was built using the case based reasoning method using the nearest neighbor algorithm. This expert system was tested with user acceptance testing to test the feasibility of the system by involving 30 respondents and the resulting system was good and also tested using black box testing to IT experts and the results showed that the system was appropriate.
