Abstract :
Teak wood is a raw material that is often used to make various kinds of products. One example is products that are in the house, such as tables, chairs and others. Companies in the industrial sector, one of which is a shop for handicraft products from teak wood, is still experiencing several obstacles. Constraints that occur in the store are that they have not been able to optimize the profits of their production from available raw materials, existing labor, limited processing time and market demand. Therefore, a system is needed in order to optimize the profits from the production of the shop so that the results obtained are greater than before. This study aims to build a production profit optimization system by applying the simplex method in it. This research is expected to help shop owners to get optimal benefits from the products they make and determine which products have the greatest profits.
