Abstract :
Joper chicken is a farm animal that is widely bred because it provides benefits and advantages. Beginner breeders who want to raise joper chickens, especially ordinary people, encounter several obstacles, one of which is disease. If the chicken is attacked by disease, it can reduce the productivity of the chicken. Where when chickens are exposed to disease, veterinarians are expected to assist in treating and preventing disease from spreading. But this is still not helpful because it takes a long time to call a vet and it costs a lot of money, otherwise the disease continues to spread. For this reason, information technology is needed, namely an expert system that can help diagnose chicken diseases and can be used anywhere and anytime. Expert system is one of the fields in artificial intelligence that is used to solve a problem that is usually done by experts. This study aims to build an expert system by applying the Forward Chaining method, which is an inference process that starts the search from the premise or input data in the form of symptoms leading to a conclusion, namely the conclusion of the disease suffered.
