Abstract :
Sumberanyar is one of the villages in Paiton Sub-district located in Paiton District, Probolinggo Regency which has a population of 6,701 inhabitants with a population density of up to 1,719 people/Km2 and the area of rice fields in Sumberanyar Village reaches 184.29Ha, yields from rice fields have become the main commodity for the residents of Sumberanyar Village, namely shallots with production in 2019 reaching 118 tons (BPS Probolinggo, 2019). Currently, Indonesia is experiencing a period of the Covid-19 pandemic, so the government provides advisors at home, as a result the economic chain has decreased, especially the process of buying and selling transactions in the market is very limited which causes farmers to experience considerable losses due to the accumulation of shallot stocks in warehouses which causes spoilage of shallots. With this research, researchers will design and build a Geographic Information System for Shallot Land Mapping and Marketing using the Supply Chain Traceability method.
