Abstract :
Any activity of a person must be related to the surrounding environment. The state of this environment will affect a person's activities. An increase in indoor temperature will have an uncomfortable impact on a person and will affect the results of his performance. Technology in modern times provides convenience in carrying out activities. Therefore the role of technology is needed in everyday life considering the rapid development of technology. Monitoring and control of room temperature is a solution that is quite effective in maintaining the state of the environment to be well maintained. This room temperature setting and monitoring system is android based by using NodeMCU ESP8266 as Microcontroller. In order to provide information in the form of data and can be set, components in the form of DHT22 temperature sensor and Relay as a switch are needed. All of these components are integrated into each other and then send data to the ThingSpeak server which is then displayed on the android application. With this one can monitor the temperature of the room and adjust it as desired.
