Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to determine the R/C ratio of the acceptance of duck egg hatchery business with manual and modern incubators at UD. Java Meri, Gumukmas District, Jember Regency. The design of this research is descriptive quantitative research, which is a study that describes the differences in income from duck egg hatchery business with manual and modern incubators at UD. Java Meri. This study uses the object of income for duck eggs hatching on each incubator with a hatching scale of 5000 eggs for 1 period (28 days). This study presents the types of quantitative data, data sources in the form of primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in the form of observations and interviews with duck egg hatchery breeders at UD. Java Meri. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling. This study presents data analysis that is descriptive analysis. The study was also conducted to determine whether the duck egg hatchery business with manual and modern incubators at UD. Jawa Meri is a feasible or profitable business carried out using the calculation of the R/C Ratio business feasibility. The results obtained in this study indicate that this hatchery business is feasible and profitable on both types of machines. The income of duck egg hatching business with manual machine is Rp. 10,256,500 while the hatchery income with modern machines is Rp. 14,862,500 and obtained the R/C Ratio hatching with a manual machine that is 1.83 and 2.24 on modern machines.
