Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of fermented coconut dregs as a substitute for corn in the ration on the reproductive tract and the condition of the ovaries of laying quail. and can find out the best level of giving to the reproductive tract and the condition of laying quail ovaries. The research method used an experimental method of Completely Randomized Design (CRD) and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), using 200 DOQ (Day Old Quail) divided into 4 treatment groups with the level of addition of fermented coconut dregs, namely P0 (control), P1 (7% pulp) fermented coconut), P2 (14% fermented coconut dregs), P3 (21% fermented coconut dregs) with 5 replications and each replication contained 10 DOQ. Parameters observed were body weight, length and reproductive tract, ovarian weight, follicle weight. The results showed that the level of administration of 7% fermented coconut pulp had a significant effect (P<0.05) on the length of the reproductive tract of age, but had no effect (P>0.05) on live weight, reproductive tract weight, ovarian weight, and follicle weight Keywords: Laying Quail, Fermented coconut dregs, reproductive tract, ovarian condition
