Abstract :
This research is a quantitative descriptive research with the aim of determining the optimal amount of glutinous rice raw material inventory that should be carried out by UD. Windah, when is the right time to reorder glutinous rice raw materials, and what is the optimal total ordering cost to procure glutinous rice raw materials. The analytical tool used in this research is the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) which includes the calculation of Q (Quantity) to determine the optimal number of orders for raw materials, the ROP (Reorder Point) analysis tool to find out when is the right time to order raw materials back, and TIC (Total Inventory Cost) to calculate the total cost of ordering raw materials. Based on the results of the analysis with the EOQ method, UD. Windah should place an order for glutinous rice raw materials in 2021 amounting to 1550 Kg with an order frequency of 10 times and a total cost of Rp 304,959,- Keywords: Supply, Raw Material, Economic Order Quantity
