Abstract :
This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the inventory control of tape raw materials carried out by UD. Mutiara Rasa Jember using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. The results of the analysis obtained indicate that the total cost of raw materials that must be incurred by UD. Pearl Taste of Jember is Rp. 157,370 in 2019 while in 2020 it was Rp. 157,117 with optimal orders using the EOQ method of 1,149 kg in 2019 while in 2020 it was 1,056 kg of tape raw materials with a tape purchase frequency of 24 times in 1 year for 7 days. The reorder point to find out the right time is 1,002 kg of tape in 2019 and 918 kg of tape in 2020. So the company needs to provide raw materials for 167 kg of tape in 2019 and 153 kg in 2020.
