Abstract :
Teak (Tectona grandis) belongs to the Verbenaceae family which has many. Excellence in the use of wood. Teak includes plants that can grow in a variety of land and environmental conditions such as lowland forest, upland forest, mountain forest, dry land, wetlands, industrial plantations and plantation land. Teak can be cultivated in a generative and vegetative manner. Vegetative propagation is propagation carried out using vegetative organs, for example using stems, branches and roots. Vegetative propagation consists of cuttings, grafts, grafting and grafting originating from the tree plant organs. One of them is vegetative propagation, namely by making cuttings. The use of growth hormon or ZPT, is a supporting factor that can make a big contribution to the success of cultivation. In general, auxin ZPT can be divided into two groups, namely natural such as cow urin and young coconut water and synthetic (artificial) with trademarks such as Atonik, Dekamon, Rootone F, Root Up. The research was conducted from September 2018 to February 2018 in the Garahan Permanent Nursery. This study used a non-factorial completely randomized design consisting of 4 treatments, namely (P0) without giving ZPT, (P1) 1 ml atonic concentration, (P2) 2 ml atonic concentration, (P3) cow urin concentration 25%, and (P4) concentration. coconut water 10%. The observational data obtained were tested with the F test (Anova) and if significantly different, the LSD test was carried out at the 5% level. The results showed that ZPT administration had a very significant effect on the percentage of finished seedlings, percentage of live cuttings and plant height and had no significant differences in the number of roots, wet weight, root length and plant diameter. The best treatment with the highest average is the use of synthetic ZPTKeywords: Teak, Growth Regulating Substance, Cuttings
