Abstract :
That purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of lempuyang powder lempuyang emprit (Z. Amaricans) in the diet on broiler performance art. The benefits of the implementation of this study is to provide information about the effect of lempuyang powder emprit (Z.amaricans) in broiler ration in improving performans. The step of methode experiment was completely randomized design with 4 treatments and each treatment be repeated 5 times. Each experimental unit consisted of 5 birds 15 day old broilers and that total used is 100. That treatments were the addition of lempuyang powder in the feed with each P0 (0%); P1 (0,5%); P2 (15%) and P3 (1,5%). Each treatment was repeated five times. The parameters observed were: Feed intake, body weight gain and feed conversion. Data were collected at 15 days old chickens until 35 days. The result showed that the addition of lempuyang powder in the feed at the level of 0,5% to 1,5% level showed no significantly different (P>0,05%) on feed consumption, body weight and feed conversion.
