Abstract :
Silo district is a center of coffee production in Jember , but that potential is enormous , so far not managed and not fully utilized so that the distribution of income of coffee farmers in district Silo uneven. Need for analysis of the factors that affect the income of coffee farmers are then used to formulate the right strategy to be able to increase income and improve the welfare of farmers in Silo district. This study aims to analyze and test the effect of variable area of land, capital, experience, education, local government contributions, and access to information as a whole and partially to the income of coffee farmers in Silo district and knowing the dominant variable . Questionnaires conducted on 70 respondents. Based on test results using multiple regression analysis using SPSS 16.0 can be concluded that 1 ) Variable area of land, capital, experience, education, local government contributions, and information access overall significant effect to the income of coffee farmers 2 ) Variable area of land, capital, and experience partially significant effect to the income of coffee farmers. Variable education, contribution of local government , and access to information does not affect the income of coffee farmers 3 ) the dominant variable that influence to the income of coffee farmers in district Silo in Jember regency is capital.
