Abstract :
In Indonesia, this plant is known as a sugar-producing plant, currently the need forsugar continues to increase along with the growth and development of industry and the increase in population. The use of mule seeds that have been carried out so far has not given the expected results. Budset seed is one of the sugarcane seedling technologies that can be done by farmers in order to reduce the diversity of plant growth and save time for the initial growth of sugarcane seedlings. This study aims to determine the effect of adding vermicompost on the growth of bud set seedlings of sugarcane (Saccharum offichinarum L.). The research design used was a Randomized Block Design (RAK), using one factor, namely the dose of vermicompost consisting of 4 treatments. The first treatment (P0) was the addition of inorganic fertilizer, the second treatment (P1) was the addition of 40.50 grams of vermicompost fertilizer, the third treatment (P2) was the addition of 81 grams of vermicompost fertilizer, the fourth treatment (P3) was the addition of 121.50 grams of vermicompost. Each treatment was repeated 6 times. The results of this study indicate that the application of vermicompost fertilizer has a significant effect on the observation parameters for the number of leaves and the number of tillers Key words : Kascing Fertilizer, Sugar Cane
