Abstract :
This study aims to find out the application of regulations directly on how to implement a program of personality development activities and the independence of prisoners in Class IIA Women's Prison Tangerang. Based on the results of this study, the process of implementing coaching regulations is to provide coaching in accordance with Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, the main principles of correctional and a predetermined correctional development system. Correctional Institutions as the implementing gate for the development of convicts play a very important role in "re-socializing" or actually become a training ground for convicts to be prepared to return to society after being released from detention. And also shows that the coaching carried out at the Tangerang Class IIA Women's Prison is not optimal, but the handling is in accordance with Law no. 12 of 1995 concerning Penitentiary and Government Regulation no. 31 of 1999 concerning Guidance and Guidance of Correctional Families.
