Abstract :
The Distribution System is a System that direct the electricity right to the costumer, where this
system really needs to ensure the continuity of the electricity supply to the costumer, which one is by
ensuring the balanced load of a distribution transformator in order to minimize the losses that
occur. This Skripsi is made in purpose to applying the load group setting method on a unbalanced
distributing panel (PHB) and calculate the losses due to current flowing in neutral wire and
material losses. The aplication of the method is based on PT. PLN (Persero) Health Index
according to SPLN 17:2014 which is determined that the transformator is said to be lacking in
load balance if it exceeds 20% of the percentage of the load imbalance. The unbalanced load on
the distribution transformer causes current to flow in the neutral wire. On GT. MIK011
experienced an imbalance of 39,66% at Outside Peak Load Time (LWBP) and 26.33% when Peak
Load Time (WBP) with neutral conductor losses of 1,839 kW at (LWBP) and (WBP) of 1,129 kW but
with the application of the Regulatory Method The Load Group found a decrease in the percentage
of imbalance to 16% with losses of 775.06 kW at Outside Peak Load Time (LWBP) and 15.67.%
with losses to the conductor of 847.97 kW at Peak Load Time (WBP).
