Abstract :
This study aims to examine the direct effects of managerial competence,
organizational culture, entrepreneurial leadership, and leader member exchange
(LMX) on corporate entrepreneurship. This also imvestigated the indirect effects
of those variables mediated with managerial performance on corporate
entrepreneurship. The population of this study were 124 brand offices of BCA
Bank in East Java. Referring to Slovin formula, the minimum samples were 95
brand offices. Therefore, the respondents were the head of branch offices, the
head of operational services, and the head of customer service. They included 285
respondents (i.e there manager of 95 branch office).
This study is quantitative research applying Partial Least Square (PLS)
with SmartPls version 3 for analyzing data. As the results. this study indicated that
the repondents managerial competence had no direct and indirect effects on
corporate entrepreneurship with managerial performance as an intervening
variable. However, the organizational culture had direct and indirect effects on
corporate entrepreneurship with managerial performance as an intervening
variable. The entrepreneurial leadership did not have direct impact on corporate
entrepreneurship, but it had indirect influence on corporate entrepreneurship with
managerial performance as an intervening variable. Then, LMX had direct effect on corporate entrepreneurship with managerial performance..
