Abstract :
In this research paper the writer discusses translation quality assessment of
R.L Stine novel, ?The Haunted School?. The writer only focuses on the
Indonesian novel translation. The writer uses Rochaya Machali theory to analyze
the quality of assessment of the translation because her way to assess the
translation is easier to understand. The main question of this research is how good
the Indonesian translation of the novel ?The Haunted School? by R.L Stine. The
writer only uses the qualitative method to determined whether the novel is
translated properly or not. The result of this research is that the translation is
categorized as good translation with some notes of the errors. Most of the errors
are diction errors.
